You can learn along with your children. At CodeJIKA.com we believe in peer to peer learning and our goal is that all learners should introduce coding to other learners and build a coding ecosystem.

The super fun, 1 Hour Website introductory course is designed to demystify coding and show that anybody can learn the basics Anybody, anywhere, anytime can learn how to code in an hour – We even have an offline version. A volunteer can conduct a live coding activity in a classroom or virtually, provided that the school has the equipment.

Encourage your local school to start teaching coding. To make it easier, CodeJIKA.com offers easy courses from Grade 8-12 at NO COST..

FAQ

Where do I even start?

Start by identifying a school in your area, you can also approach your son or daughter’s school. Speak to the principal and ask if you can teach kids how to code and you only need an 1 and half. If the school option does not work, gather your friends and relatives kids between the ages of 12-18 and you can host a mini workshop in your house.

What do I need for the 1 Hour Website

You will need the following:

  • Laptops(if you are hosting at your house, each child can bring their own laptop)

  • 1 hour website curriculum- you can print it out or copy it on the computer(download here:)

  • Notepad(you can find this by searching in your computer)

  • Phone camera to capture the moment

Who’s this for?

The CodeJIKA.com program is built for non-technical people. It’s fun and the main part is to have fun doing it with others. You probably don’t feel qualified to “Teach Coding.” Don’t worry, it’s more about spending time together with someone and doing a dynamic and unpredictable activity together.

The Impact Multiplier

There is only one condition. Are you ready? Everyone that you do a coding session with has to promise to spend 10 minutes doing the same with someone else. Creating a “Tech-savvy” educational sector and society starts with everyone.
