Coding Kickstarter Campaign

For Teachers and Youth Trainers in Kenya, Ghana, Nigeria, and Zambia.

Are you interested in implementing a “Coding in Schools” program or helping youth in a High School near you learn how to code? CodeJIKA.com is offering awesome weekly vouchers to energetic teachers/trainers that are interested in launching the CodeJIKA program in a High School in their countries.

Weekly Prizes to be won! 

OUTCOMES: Complete Project 1 with 20 learners. (+/- 2 hours )

How to participate: To be part of the challenge, simply ask your students to log in to the CodeJIKA platform and create profiles and they can start coding. The first 10 teachers/trainers who send their registers and proof of code and images of students coding will receive a voucher each. 

Deadline for entries: 30 November by 23h59 South African time. No entries will be accepted after 30 November.

What you need to participate: Internet connection and a computer or mobile device

  Rules: 

  • Open to teachers and trainers. 

  • You can only compete individually and not in teams

  • Your challenge needs to be coded using the CodeJIKA curriculum

  • You must also submit 2 CLEAR photos of your students holding their CodeJIKA completion certificate.(you will need to print the certificate)

  • A maximum of 1 voucher will be dispersed to the same individual.

  • Should be a school that currently is not offering the CodeJIKA program or has not been introduced to the CodeJIKA program. 

Judging Criteria: 

  • Does the project include the CodeJIKA curriculum?

  • Did you submit CLEAR images of your learners?
